As the governing body of the sport of endurance in Great Britain, EGB has always had great respect for our members’ and supporters’ data and for their privacy. EGB has put the necessary policies and procedures in place to be compliant with the GDPR legislation, which includes the Lawful Basis under which EGB processes personal data.

Lawful Basis: This document summarises the lawful basis under which EGB collects and uses personal data for the benefit of its members and supporters.
Subject Access Requests can be made to the EGB Office by email at email@example.com with an email subject of “GDPR Subject Access Request”.
A request for personal data to be corrected, limited or completely removed should also be communicated to the EGB Office by email at firstname.lastname@example.org with a subject of “GDPR Action Request”
All emails sent by the system contain a tracking pixel. This is used to track whether each email has been opened by the recipient, and when. This information can be viewed by those users of the system with permission to view email delivery reports. We do not display any information regarding the location of the recipient. Note that the tracking pixel is only activated if the recipient chooses to download images into their email client.
